Game Setup for Two Players
*Game art is subject to change.
Black Player and Green Player determines, secretly, where they are sending their Scavenger Team.
Both Players now place their Scavenger Team on the Map in the Locations they determined. Secretly determining where their Scavenger Team is going makes it fair and potentially unexpected
if they choose the same location. That can lead to PvP Combat.
Both Players also roll on the Encounter Table to see if they have an Encounter along the way. In this case
both rolled a No Encounter result.
Now the Players reveal the top Encounter at the Locations (There is only the one right now and they are the Starter Encounters that give Players a better chance on the first Day). They also must roll against the Encounter Target on the Encounter and try to meet or beat that number.
In both of their Encounters they did defeat them.
In the Black Meeple Player the Scavenger Team is at a Strength of TWO Scavengers so they roll 2d6 for a total of 5. The Lonely Dead have an Encounter Target of 4 but when there is only TWO Scavengers it gains 1 to Encounter Target for a 5. The 2d6 rolled came to 5 which meets the Encounter Target and defeats The Dead. The Green Player also defeats their Encounter with The Children.
Now remove the Encounter and move the Meeples into the Encounter part of the Location.
Both Players now have their Scavenger Teams look for Resources by rolling 4d6 and compare it to the chart on the Locations. Gather the Resources the Scavenger Team earned.
Black Roll: 3, 3, 5, 6
Green Roll: 1, 1, 5, 6
Black Meeple Team did better.
Worker Phase begins.
Pay for the Base Requirements. Green Player Plays a Skillset card “Electrician” that lowers the cost of the Power Requirements for
the Base by ONE.
Players now use their Workers for Worker Actions and both use their ONE Worker to apply Work and
Materials to their Vehicles.
Players now can Promote up to TWO Population to Workers/Scavengers. Green Meeple Player can only afford to Promote ONE Population and chooses Scavenger.
Players can now send their Population to gather ONE Resource of their choosing.
Now for the end of the Worker Phase, Equipment Cards can now be Played to Active Equipment. Both Players have a Weapon that will strengthen their Scavenger Teams and they Play them.
